Talal Chaudhry Congratulates New PHMA North Zone Chairman

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry presented a bouquet to Mian Farrukh Iqbal on his election as PHMA North Zone chairman.
The minister assured full government support for resolving textile and apparel industry issues.
He offered to arrange meetings with commerce ministry officials for direct policy dialogue.

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry congratulated Mian Farrukh Iqbal on his election as Chairman of the Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PHMA) North Zone, presenting him with a bouquet of flowers.

On the occasion, Talal Chaudhry assured Mian Farrukh Iqbal of his full cooperation and complete support for the promotion, development and improvement of Pakistan’s textile and apparel industry. He said that in line with the Prime Minister’s vision, every possible effort would be made to resolve the problems facing the industrial sector, provide facilities to the business community and strengthen the country’s export-based industries.

The minister further assured that he would cooperate in arranging meetings with senior officials of the Ministry of Commerce and other relevant federal ministries, so that PHMA representatives could present the issues facing the textile and apparel industry directly before the policymakers. He expressed his commitment to promoting effective coordination between the government and the industrial sector and providing all possible assistance for timely resolution of problems.

Talal Chaudhry also offered Mian Farrukh Iqbal the use of his office for PHMA-related matters and assured that his cooperation would continue in efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s industrial base, improve the business environment and enhance the competitiveness of Pakistani products in global markets.

On the occasion, Mian Farrukh Iqbal thanked Talal Chaudhry from the bottom of his heart for his encouragement, cooperation and positive engagement with the business community. He appreciated the assurance of cooperation in arranging meetings with relevant ministries and expressed confidence that close coordination between the government and PHMA would help resolve the genuine issues of the textile and apparel industry, increase Pakistan’s exports and promote national economic development.
