FESCO Announces Power Shutdown for Oct 28 in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company has announced that power supply will remain suspended on Oct 28 from 9am to 1pm for repair work on power lines and grid stations, officials said.

FESCO said the suspension was needed for necessary repair, extension and replacement of power lines and repair work at grid stations.

The power supply will remain suspended from the Sondh feeder of the 132 kV Mureed Wala grid station and the Pindi, Alam Shah feeders of the 132 kV Tandlianwala grid station.

The Dhakot C, Dino Hukumat feeders of the 220 kV Samundri grid station and the Raja Chowk, Saeedabad, Usman Ghani feeders of the 132 kV Agri University grid station will also remain without power.

The Afghanabad, ABC Road feeders of the 132 kV Jhang Road grid station and the Murtaza Pura, Shahbaz Pur, Razaabad feeders of the 132 kV Naz Wala Road grid station are included in the schedule.

The Taja Gir Wala, Janab Road feeders of the 132 kV Bhawana grid station, the Deshan Textile feeder of the 132 kV Chak Jhumra grid station and the Wao feeder of the 132 kV Chiniot grid station will face suspension.

FESCO Installs 183,403 Smart Meters for Accurate Billing

The Jaranwala Road, Hassan Spinning One, Interloop, Chawla, Zaid A Corporation feeders of the 132 kV Khurrianwala grid station and the Ashrafabad feeder of the 132 kV Nishatabad grid station are also affected.

The F-5 feeder of the 132 kV Bandala grid station will also remain suspended, FESCO said.

The Malwana, Gulab, Lal Kothi, Akbar, S-2, Qarar Wala, Jaranwala Road, Sultani Lasso, Borstal Jail, N-1 Valley, Nazar Shaheed, Sultani Fabrics feeders of the 132 kV Scarp Colony grid station are included in the shutdown.

The Aliabad feeder of the 132 kV Satiana grid station and the Harach feeder of the 132 kV Millat Road grid station complete the list, FESCO said.

FESCO issued the schedule through its public relations department on Oct 26, officials said.
