FAISALABAD: Lawyers in Faisalabad will get fitness and green certificates on a priority basis every Saturday and Sunday until 31 December 2026, the District Bar Association said.

The Punjab government has made fitness and green certificates mandatory for all vehicles, the association said in a notice to its members.

Auto Mechanix has arranged priority issuance of the certificates for lawyers at both Faisalabad centres every Saturday and Sunday, the notice said. Lawyers may visit their nearest PVICS centre for the emission test and the fitness certificate and green sticker.

The two centres are PVICS Iqbal Stadium and PVICS West Canal (Canal Road).

Both centres remain open from 8 AM to 8 PM. Their locations are available through Google Maps.

Lawyers must carry their original Punjab Bar Council licence.

All checking is done through modern computerised machines. The result is fully automatic.

Lawyers should therefore get complete maintenance and tuning of their vehicles done before visiting a centre.

A smart card or registration book is necessary for the emission test.
