FAISALABAD: FESCO has withdrawn most of the maintenance shutdowns it had announced for November 8 and 9, cutting the programme for the two days to the feeders of a single grid station.
According to the FESCO public relations release, the second revision issued on Friday replaces the updated schedule the company had issued earlier the same day. The complete station-wise programme is given below.
The company said the shutdowns were necessary for the essential repair, extension and replacement of electric lines and maintenance work at grid stations.
On November 8, the 22 feeders of the Factory Area grid station will stay off from 9am to 1pm. The shutdowns listed earlier for the Chak Jhumra, Scarp Colony, Tariqabad and Agriculture University grid stations no longer appear in the programme.
Nothing is listed for November 9, where the Chiniot grid station’s New Din Garden and Jhumra Road feeders had been named in the earlier update.
On November 11, the Bhamb and Kot Shakir feeders will stay off from noon to 6pm. The Scarp Colony S-2 feeder, which the earlier update had listed for the same hours, has been withdrawn.
