FAISALABAD – The Labour Court Faisalabad has summoned the management of AIMS Contact Technologies on April 8 in connection with a petition filed by its former employee, Ammar Bhatti.

The petitioner filed the case on March 17, seeking the release of his dues. He had been working at the company as a Business Sales Executive (BSE) on a monthly salary of Rs 45,000.

Employee Alleges Unpaid Dues and Unfair Termination

The company provides utility & merchant services to small and medium enterprise (SME) business owners in the United Kingdom.

Talking to Grand Lines, he said that he had worked at the company for nearly 30 days from January 29 to February 28, 2026.

He said that the working environment at the company was very tough and some senior officials were in the habit of using derogatory language towards employees. However, he did not focus on these issues and continued to serve the company with  dedication and enthusiasm.

He further said that the company terminated his services without issuing any notice or providing a valid reason. Following his termination, he requested the management to clear his dues, if his services were no longer required.

Company Accused of Threats and Policy Violations

Instead of paying the dues, he alleged that company officials threatened him with dire consequences if he pursued any legal action.

He requested the HR department to clear his pending payment, but they informed him that, under company policy, terminated employees are not paid their salary. Despite meeting the HR department officials two or three times, he received the same response—that he wouldn’t get his salary.

Labour Inspector Confirms Legal Obligation to Pay Salaries

Following the refusal, Ammar stated that he decided to take legal action against this ‘injustice’ and filed a case in the Labour Department against AIMS Contact Technologies.

After receiving his complaint, the Labour Inspector issued the notice to the company requesting the relevant records. However, the company didn’t bother to respond to this notice.

Speaking to Grand Lines, Labour Inspector Muhammad Ateeq said that he had visited the company after receiving the application submitted by Bhatti, but found the offices locked.

He confirmed that a notice had been served to the company, which went unanswered. He categorically mentioned that according to the law, companies are obligated to pay salaries to employees even after termination.

Asad Siddiqui, the CEO of the company, told Grand Lines that the individual had committed a clear breach of his standard employment terms at AIMS Contact Technologies.

He said that there are two primary grounds for the action taken against him. First, he allegedly submitted false information during the recruitment process. Second, he left the company of his own will, violating the agreed-upon terms that require a 30-day prior written notice. Instead, he submitted an immediate resignation and left the company.

Regarding the court proceedings, he said that the company’s legal team would pursue the case before the Wage Board and the Labour Court.
