FAISALABAD: Balochni police have arrested a man who shot and injured his mother. Ali Hassan had fired at Nasreen Bibi over her marriage to Haq Nawaz.
SHO Balochni Mohsin Abbas arrested the accused, according to the police handout.
The case, FIR 574/26, was registered at the Balochni police station under sections 324, 148 and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of Haq Nawaz. The firing had taken place on September 26.
The city police officer said the arrested accused would be punished in accordance with the law, adding that law-breaking would not be tolerated in any case.
