IG Punjab Transfers 19 Officers in Three Orders

LAHORE: The Inspector General of Police, Punjab, transferred 19 officers, including 13 deputy superintendents of police and six senior officers, in three orders issued on Tuesday, police said.

The first order, notification 145/2026/PS/HQ, transferred 13 deputy superintendents of police. The second order, notification 146/2026/PS/HQ, transferred four senior officers. The third order, notification 148/2026/PS/HQ, transferred two senior officers.

The transfers were ordered by IG Punjab in notifications dated 27 October 2026, with immediate effect and till further orders.

Two officers were posted to Faisalabad in the order. Abdul Majeed moved from SDPO Jehanian, Khanewal, to DSP Headquarters, Faisalabad, while Muhammad Zubair moved from DSP Legal-I, Narowal, to DSP Legal-III, Faisalabad.

Mudassar Rasheed was transferred out of Faisalabad in the same order. He moved from DSP Headquarters, Faisalabad, to DSP-II, Battalion-7, PC Lahore, against an existing vacancy.

Punjab Police Transfers 17 DSPs and Traffic Officers With Immediate Effect

Two Lahore officers swapped security divisions in the order. Mansoor Elahi moved to DSP Security Division-VII (90 SQA), Lahore, while Abdul Ghafoor moved to DSP Security Division-IX (96-H, Model Town), Lahore.

Other postings in the order cover Punjab Police posts in Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Nankana, Okara, Khushab, Chakwal, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Attock, D.G. Khan and Lahore.

Four senior officers transferred in second order

The second order changes the head of the RIB in Faisalabad Region. Muhammad Akmal moved to Sargodha Region, while Muhammad Javed Akhtar Jatoi took over as SSP RIB Faisalabad Region.

The third order transferred two senior officers with immediate effect and till further orders, according to the notification.
