FAISALABAD: SSP Operations Imran Ahmad Malik punished 525 police personnel in an orderly room, including dismissals, service forfeitures, fines and censures, police said.

He issued orders for the forfeiture of two years’ service of 190 officers and personnel absent from Attock duty, according to police.

He also ordered censure for 320 employees over negligence in duty, police said.

In the general orderly room, two officials found guilty in inquiries were dismissed from service, according to police.

Two employees were fined, 10 were censured and the service of one employee was forfeited, police said.

The punishments covered 525 personnel in all.

The SSP Operations said departmental accountability against employees negligent in their duties will be ensured.
