FAISALABAD: A man was killed and another injured when a Mazda pickup hit a motorcycle on Sheikhupura Road on Thursday. The crash took place at Daran Wala Mor in the Khurrianwala area.
Rescue 1122 said the dead man, Shahid Nadeem, 50, son of Muhammad Saleem, died at the scene.
It said the injured man was Zulfiqar, 44, son of Muhammad Anwar, a resident of Chak 97 Johl.
According to the rescue service, its team reached the scene, gave the injured man first aid and shifted him to the rural health centre in Khurrianwala.
It said the body was handed over to the police and the family after the necessary formalities.
