Rajab Butt's Land Cruiser Impounded in Lahore

LAHORE: Sundar police have impounded a Land Cruiser fitted with a fake number plate and registered a case against its driver.

According to the spokesman for the DIG Operations, the vehicle was stopped near the NFC bridge and it carried a fake and non-pattern number plate.

The spokesman said the driver, Musa Khan, could not give a satisfactory answer about the number plate.

He said that according to initial information, the Land Cruiser belongs to well-known YouTuber Rajab Butt.

Sundar police registered a case against the driver. Further legal proceedings regarding the ownership of the vehicle and the number plate are under way, the spokesman said.

DIG Operations Faisal Kamran said the Lahore police crackdown on fake and non-pattern number plates was continuing.

He said 1,508 cases had been registered during the crackdown so far.

“The law is equal for everyone and no one has any exemption,” the DIG Operations said.

He said the original identity of vehicles was being ensured for the prevention of crime.
